ISUZU MOTORS INTERNATIONAL FZE (IIF) inaugurated its solar panel installation at the IIF facility in Dubai, marking a significant step forward in the company’s environmental sustainability journey. The initiative reflects IIF’s continued commitment to responsible operations under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework, reinforcing its focus on long‑term environmental impact.
Developed in collaboration with Positive Zero, the project features an almost 500 kWp rooftop solar installation implemented under a 20‑year agreement, transforming unused roof space into a source of clean, renewable energy. Over its lifetime, the system is expected to generate approximately 15.9 million kWh of clean electricity, contributing meaningfully to IIF’s efforts to reduce reliance on conventional grid power while supporting long‑term operational efficiency.
The inauguration ceremony brought together Mr. Goda, President of IIF and Mr. Fukasawa, Vice President of IIF, alongside Mr. Laurent, CEO at Generation / Positive Zero and key stakeholders to celebrate by having a symbolic ribbon‑cutting ceremony highlighting the solar installation. This solar energy initiative underscores IIF’s focus on integrating sustainability into daily operations while aligning with broader environmental goals in the UAE.
