Isuzu Motors International and Continental Auto Support School Kits and Road Safety Awareness for 550 Students in Madagascar

Antananarivo, Madagascar – September 2026

ISUZU Motors International FZE (IIF), together with its partner, Continental Auto and with the support of the VISEO Foundation, conducted a back-to-school initiative for 550 students at EPP Charlotte Ranohisoa Ankorondrano in Antananarivo, Madagascar. The initiative combined educational support and road safety awareness activities for preschool and primary school students as they prepared for the new academic year.

As part of the initiative, students received school kits containing essential learning materials to support their studies throughout the year. Developed in collaboration with our partner, Continental Auto and the local community, the activity assisted preschool and primary school students at the start of the school term while contributing to broader efforts in education, community development, and the promotion of safe mobility practices from an early age.

Highlights of the initiative:

📚 School kits provided, including backpacks, stationery, reusable water bottles, caps, and T-shirts
🛣️ Road safety awareness activities to help children better understand everyday road risks
🚸 Interactive pedestrian learning to encourage safe road-crossing habits

This initiative reflects IIF’s CSR commitment to Empowering Communities and Safe & Educated Mobility, with a focus on supporting education and encouraging greater road safety awareness among young people.

As part of IIF’s continuing contribution to education, road safety, and community development across Africa, this initiative in Madagascar builds on a previous activity in Côte d’Ivoire, where IIF and its local partner supported primary school students through the distribution of school kits and road safety awareness activities. Through its Driving Africa Forward journey, IIF continues to support initiatives that benefit future generations and contribute to the long-term well-being of local communities.
